Earthseed is real religion based on the science fiction of Octavia Butler, especially her books, Parable of the Sower (1993) and Parable of the Talents (1998), and her unfinished and unpublished “Parable of the Trickster”.

The principal tenets of Earthseed are:

God is Change.

Shape God.

The Destiny of Earthseed is to take root among the stars.
